[Cu is a morning person and he is already drinking a coffee as he waits for his cue. Once he hears Rin moving, he puts his coffee cup away and walks calmly into the bathroom behind her in his spirit form, knowing full well Rin wouldn't notice his presence in zombie mode.

The scream he would have heard from where he had been earlier, of course, but he wanted to be near so he could wrap his arms around Rin and change the water to a warm temperature.
